In the middle of the museum hall, you will find the Design Station: an interactive and always freely accessible place to create, do and think.
Here, you can actively discover what design is all about. You can try out the collection and even touch it! And you can get to work creating your own design. You will also find special bingo cards here. With these cards, you can discover design both inside and outside the museum. Because it is everywhere. Everything around us is designed, and that is exactly what you can experience here.
Creation
We developed this project in collaboration with Studio Sociaal Centraal and various groups from Den Bosch. We invited young people, young newcomers, families and childcare centres from Den Bosch to contribute their ideas and designs. The wishes and ideas from these working sessions were then translated into various design proposals, which we tested in the museum with the target groups and our regular museum visitors.
